My name is Melissa! I'm a mom of 2. I spent the majority of my pregnancies on bed rest just reading, studying, and soaking up any information on pregnancy childbirth, and lactation that I could. I found a love for it. during my first pregnancy, I was temporarily hospitalized and the way I was treated and tossed around was dehumanizing. I want to do everything I can to teach women to speak up and advocate for themselves no matter what! I also want to teach birthing partners and families how to help their significant other know what they want and how they can advocate for you when you can't for yourself!
